The board also approved a construction bid from Gallagher for rooftop units and a new PVC roof membrane at Henderson Elementary. Kim Morissack, presenting the bid, said the work is part of summer capital projects and that it is necessary to keep construction on schedule to open school on time. The total cost was stated in the presentation as approximately $2.21 million. A motion to approve the construction bid was made and the board voted in favor.
Separately, the board approved the consent agenda, which included routine items such as minutes, budget amendments, a depository contract extension, equipment purchases, a copier lease renewal, a local policy update on second and final reading, and a low attendance waiver.
