Cascade’s City Council approved the consent agenda on May 12, 2025, which included meeting minutes, board minutes, a liquor license renewal for Bailoney LLC doing business as The Bentrim, and claims totaling $2,755.35.
During review of claims, a council member questioned a $880 Premier Window invoice and whether the library window cleaning contract would be biannual; staff confirmed the plan was to clean windows twice a year and said staff would review alternative providers and pricing. Council also questioned a $2,400 line for Young's Painting for a vinyl wall graphic on the silo; staff clarified the work covered installation of a vinyl graphic on the adult side of the silo and that half the graphic had been completed previously.
In staff reports, Fred reminded the public that the Wing & Brew Fest will close the street by Riverview Park for most of Saturday; Deanna said the next council meeting will be Tuesday, May 27 due to the Memorial Day holiday. Deanna also reported that Soil Concepts will walk the library lawn seeding project and that the lawn is under a warranty; crews will water and monitor growth and the contractor will reseed if warranties require it. Staff said the Tyler Street project was completed and that the city is moving to Tyler Technologies for a software switch with scheduled training sessions.
The consent agenda motion was made by Delaney, seconded and approved by voice vote. The meeting adjourned after closing motions.
