Board approves multiple contracts, MOUs, insurance renewals and consent agenda

At its June 9 meeting the Casa Grande Union High School District board approved several memoranda of understanding, contract renewals, insurance renewals and routine consent items.
The board approved an MOU with Cartwell Health Services to participate in an ADE-backed mental-health telehealth pilot (Teladoc-based), with administration saying the service carries no direct district cost because of the ADE partnership. The board also approved a renewal of contracted psychologist services (Arizona School Psychology Services LLC), physical therapy services (Stenhouse LLC), and a new occupational therapy agreement with Eleutheria LLC to support IEP and specialized needs.
Separately, the board approved an MOU with Health Corps to place trained college-age mentors with PACE students for academic and career mentoring. The board renewed a 20-hours-per-week athletic-training support contract at a contracted cost of $42,000 for evenings and overlap coverage and extended its audit services contract with Heinfeld, Mech & Co., PC for the fiscal year ending 06/30/2025.
The board also approved renewal of Alliance workers' compensation coverage and the Arizona Schools Risk Retention Trust property and liability insurance for FY2026, accepted multiple community donations to district programs (donors and dollar amounts were listed by the presenter), and approved school meal program agreements enabling the district’s food-service provider to supply meals to Grama Innovation Academy and Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic School.
The consent agenda (items a–g) was approved in one motion; no public comments were received and the meeting adjourned.
