The board moved and approved the retirement-acceptance resolution by roll-call vote.
After a roughly 15-minute executive session to discuss personnel, the board reconvened and voted to terminate the employment of employee number 2043 effective immediately (03/18/2025). The motion to terminate was moved, seconded and carried on a roll-call vote; the chair said action would follow the executive-session discussion and the vote was recorded in open session.
The board announced it would disclose the executive-session discussion to the public when the matter has been settled, "unless otherwise prohibited by law," per the meeting's executive-session resolution. No further personnel details were provided in open session.
