At its Feb. 11 meeting the Burrillville School Committee approved several personnel actions.
The committee approved a leave of absence for Ashley Kranka, assistant principal at Burrillville High School, effective on or before March 24, 2025, through May 16, 2025. It accepted the retirement of Gregory Romowicz, systems analyst, effective May 23, 2025, and the retirement of Monica Thompson, principal at A.T. Levy, effective June 30, 2025.
The committee also accepted resignations listed in the packet, including Morgan Kenoyer (softball assistant coach, Burrillville High School, effective Jan. 17, 2025), Holly Wright (teacher assistant, Burrillville High School, effective Jan. 31, 2025) and Dylan Brown (music teacher, A.T. Levy, effective June 18, 2025), and received and filed subsequent appointments. Motions were made, seconded and passed by voice votes.
The committee did not discuss replacements in detail at the meeting; administrators said appointments were included in supporting materials.
