Commissioners approve Arcadis consulting agreement and Longwood Road sewer contract; ARP and DEQ funding details discussed

Brunswick County staff asked the board to authorize two water- and sewer-related items: a professional services agreement with Arcadis G&M of North Carolina for reclaimed-water planning and an award of a construction contract for the Longwood Road Sewer Project.
Brent Lachame presented the Arcadis scope: Phase 1 will revise the reclaimed-water section of the sewer-use ordinance (estimated 318 days, including stakeholder meetings and public hearings) and Phase 2 will develop a comprehensive reclaimed-water master plan and hydraulic model (about 282 days).
