Cumberland approves facility and personnel policies, confirms GEMSNET contract and pays Chartwells invoice

Proposed amendments to E2 (transportation) that would have memorialized registration and first‑come, first‑serve language were withdrawn and tabled after members identified an incorrect file in the public folder and requested proper public notice before voting.
Contracts and bills: Ms. Smith moved and the board approved a renewal for the GEMSNET partnership subject to confirmation that Cumberland's contract portion is $174,054.67; that motion passed 7–0. The board also approved payment of a Chartwells invoice totaling $245,037.99 (7–0).
Personnel: Human-resources representative Miss Trezick reported two resignations effective June 30 (Alexis Gabriel and Kimberly Graziano) and six new appointments with effective dates between July 1 and Aug. 28, 2025.
Procedural note: For E2 transportation the board withdrew the motion after members found multiple versions of the amendment in the shared drive and agreed to re-notice the correct document for the public hearing in July.
