The council voted unanimously to award the Swing Bridge overlook improvement project to McLaughlin Construction Corp., doing business as Bauer Construction, at a cost not to exceed $437,581.50. Council members Fisher, Milam and Cook each voted "aye" when the clerk called the roll and the mayor declared the resolution adopted.
The council also approved a $46,600 contract with Clark Patterson Lee for construction administration and inspection services on the Niagara Street mill-and-overlay and drainage improvements.…
