Oakdale council proclaims National Night Out, honors Oakdale Sportsman’s Club’s 85th anniversary

The council also recognized the Oakdale Sportsman’s Club on its 85th anniversary. Club officers and past presidents — including Rick Cervando, Kevin Allison, Sean Morgan and others — described the club’s charity work, youth hunter‑safety programs, support for local schools and partnerships with organizations such as the Boy Scouts and Ducks Unlimited. The council presented a certificate in honor of the milestone.
Council members and community speakers thanked volunteers, block captains and club members for their long‑standing civic contributions.
