Board signs small warranty change and hires design consultant for Maiden High roof

Moore said the project has a $10,000 contingency and the directive would leave $8,943 remaining in contingency funds; the board approved the directive unanimously.
Moore also presented an individual project proposal agreement with REI Engineers Inc. to prepare construction documents and manage administration of a partial roof replacement at Maiden High School. He said the total agreement amount is $143,334 (roughly $85,000 for contract documents and $58,334 for construction administration). The board moved and approved that agreement unanimously.
Moore said the REI engagement is intended to mitigate ongoing issues related to improper installation on the metal roof at Maiden High and to move the project into the construction-document phase.
