Staff reported roughly 80,000 credential completers over the last 12 months and said that since 2019 some 350,000 additional people have earned credentials beyond high school. Denley highlighted programmatic strategies that contributed to gains: expanded dual enrollment (43,000 participants), the G. J. Foster program (more than 10,000 served and more than 4,000 graduates), cooperative academic arrangements such as the Louisiana Cyber Academy, and improvements in developmental math and English success rates.
Staff and regents framed the gains as both economic and social: Denley presented lifetime earnings estimates for completers and said increased credentials translate into earnings and broader community benefits. Regents thanked staff and campus partners and asked that the report and supporting documents be published on the Regents website.
