Board receives Cotterill Elementary update, schedules ceremonial ribbon cutting

Superintendent and other board members noted a ceremonial ribbon cutting will be held ‘this Thursday night’ to allow community members one last walkthrough of the old building and a first look inside the new facility. The new building will then be open for public tours following the ceremony. Staff and volunteers will prioritize moving teachers’ classrooms on Friday, and district leadership thanked the construction team for late-night and weekend work.
The board complimented the project team for its timeliness and the district said the move and public-access details are being finalized.
