Greensville County Schools unveils slate of new administrators and staff

At the July 14 meeting, Greensville County Public Schools’ superintendent presented the first half of a slate of personnel changes and promotions.

The board was introduced to Shawna Lockhart Eanes as the district’s new school social worker and Jeanette Harvey as the executive administrative assistant to the superintendent. The district announced Kelly Woodley as Chief Financial Officer and Juana Glenberry as principal of the district refocus center. Doctor Anjanette Stiff was named director of special education and Mary Lou Phelps was identified as director of human resources. Other named roles included Karen Riddick as chief public information officer, Doctor Wayne Scott (chief of schools) in an expanded role to support special education, Cynthia Whitaker as executive director of testing and accountability, Marcus Carey as executive director of operations and student services, Mr. Winningham as director of maintenance, Latina Smith as director of payroll services, Marenia Garner as director of school nutrition, and Jerry Powell as director of transportation.

Superintendent Edwards said this presentation represented the "first half" of changes and the second half will be presented once required documentation is received from the Office of School Quality. The board did not vote on these appointments at the July 14 meeting; the presentation was informational pending final confirmations.
