Council members asked whether meter installation could be coordinated with lead‑line replacements and other in‑home work to reduce the number of household visits. Staff said they typically combine work and will plan to coordinate where possible.
The measure passed unanimously. Staff will procure the equipment and schedule deployment; utilities staff were asked to return with a timeline and anticipated customer‑communication plan before installation begins.
