The jury also adopted resolutions for the issuance of revenue bonds through the Calcasieu Parish Public Trust Authority for the Imperial Calcasieu Human Services Authority project (motion by Mister Abshire, second by Mister Bowers), and approved utility servitude agreements and multiple expropriation resolutions tied to the East Calcasieu Parish consolidated waterworks project and the Ham Reid Road extension phase 2 (motions recorded and carried as noted in the record).
Procurement actions included acceptance of recommended vendors for water-level monitoring station parts (Blue Water Design Technologies; Campbell Scientific; HydroLynx Systems; OTT HydroMet) and acceptance of the low bid from Bolton Ford in the amount of $136,248 for a 2025 one-and-a-half-ton dually pickup with mounted sign body (motion by Miss Eason, second by Mister Lewis).
The jury accepted the Epps Library hurricane replacement project as substantially complete and invited the public to a re-opening event; juror remarks thanked staff, engineers, architects and the construction team. The West Preon Lake Road and Sail Road project was also accepted as substantially complete.
