The committee approved the FY26 draft budget request; the superintendent noted this request represents an increase of approximately $1.2 million from last year's allocation and recorded the requested total as $38,577,534.
Earlier on the consent agenda the committee approved minutes and moved to approve the November 2024 warrant (number 5) with a grand total of $2,751,326.33. The committee also received and filed the FY25 budget update and a rent-budget update in members' packets.
Other routine approvals included negotiations with Council 94 (contract approval) and acceptance of personnel motions (leave, retirement, resignation) as listed in the meeting packet.
