On Sept. 10 the Finance, Audit and Budget Committee reviewed and recommended for the omnibus two ordinances (the CIP amendment for FY2025–2029 and a revised IGA with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District for the Red Line Extension) along with 11 contracts covering transit operations, infrastructure, finance, technology and diversity programs. Committee motions to place the items on the omnibus were moved by Director Jha and seconded by Director Raquel and passed on roll call.
At the full board meeting, the omnibus motion to approve the committee’s recommendations was moved, seconded and approved by roll call. The committee and board also recorded other procedural votes during the meeting cycle: approval of committee and board minutes for Aug. 13, granting Director Rosa Ortiz remote participation, and adjournment motions for both committee and board sessions.
