Robin Miller, the new chamber leader in Blowing Rock, introduced staff and board members to the town council and outlined a 90‑day plan focused on organization, people and community engagement.
Miller, who described nearly 20 years of chamber leadership experience, asked the council and community for support and said the chamber will invest in operational improvements, technology and enhanced member services to better support signature events such as Symphony, Art in the Park and Winterfest. She introduced staff (Kristen, Brooke and Courtney) and several board members in the audience and said she has been conducting short meetings with stakeholders as part of a listening tour.
Miller said the chamber’s priorities include updating processes and technology, evaluating existing member programs and expanding outreach to businesses and volunteers. She closed by inviting questions and thanking the council for support as the chamber begins new initiatives.
