Heritage softball celebrated; teachers’ association, director offer start-of-year remarks

Director Ridge said the district is focusing on instruction, engagement, safety and results; he announced seven new head principals and introduced Britney Spence as the new chief financial officer. Ridge also explained the Fund 177 design/bid/commission approval process for upcoming construction projects.
The recognitions and comments set the tenor for the meeting before the board moved into agenda items and votes.
