Speaker 3, who presented the district’s nutrition update, said state bills that might have changed the free-lunch program did not pass, so “for this next year, we are having these, free lunch system same as we've had last year,” and noted the district must charge the same adult rate for extra entrees and extra milk. The board discussed substitute-teacher pay and confirmed current rates compare favorably with neighboring districts.
