During consideration of item 8.1 the board approved "revision number 1 to the expenditure budget, including maintenance and operations and district additional assistance budgets for fiscal year 2024–25 as presented." The roll call recorded Silk, Naylor, Colton, Landis and Acton voting yes.
On item 8.2 the board considered GMP number 2 for the Hilltop School for the Arts. District staff summarized the procurement history, including the earlier selection of McCarthy Building Company as construction manager at risk and a prior GMP for long‑lead items. The board approved GMP number 2 with McCarthy Building Company as presented; a roll call recorded unanimous yes votes among members voting on the motion.
The board also approved the consent agenda and minutes from the April 9 study session and regular meeting. The consent‑agenda vote recorded Silk, Heather, Colton, Landis and Acton as voting yes.
