Teacher urges longer classroom visits; board approves 2025-26 student representatives

Later in the meeting the board moved to accept the student representatives to the board for 2025-26. Director Mullins moved approval; the board recorded assent by voice vote and the chair announced, "The ayes have it." Senior advisor Marshall Hauser praised the student reps' commitment and attendance.
Next steps: staff and board acknowledged the value of student voice and said they would notify student representatives and continue to highlight student participation in district communications.
