Chancellor's Office staff told the board the effort is a ground‑up redesign intended to shorten the application process, reduce redundant questions and build branching logic so applicants see only the questions they need to answer. Staff said they publicized the request for proposals broadly, have oversampled student feedback during vendor evaluations, and expect vendor selection within weeks.
