The council also awarded $36,235,000 in temporary improvement notes to KeyBank Capital Markets; presenters said competitive bidding and lower interest rates will reduce the city’s financing costs compared with earlier projections. The council recorded votes on the bond and note approvals (motions carried 6-0).
