The presenter said the plan runs to about 185 pages and establishes the county’s eligible mitigation action items for future grant applications.
The court approved a resolution to adopt the plan and several commissioners were asked to sign the resolution so the county can file the plan with FEMA and the state. Adoption makes specific projects eligible for FEMA funding if they meet program requirements.
