Norcross awards $1.62 million resurfacing contract to Sunbelt Asphalt Services

A council motion to approve the contract was made and seconded and the council voted to award the work to Scruggs Company (Sunbelt). The council's vote authorized staff to finalize contract documents and proceed to a kickoff and notice-to-proceed sequence once paperwork and bonding requirements were satisfied.
Staff said the contractor is prepared to begin within 10 days of receiving the notice to proceed and completion timelines will follow contractual terms.
