A local law enforcement official (a constable) said the elected law‑enforcement officers had not been provided direct access to audit logs or oversight tools called for in the March motion to approve the Flock contract. The constable told the court he had not been contacted about oversight access and that he had not been given materials to independently verify audit logs.
County and sheriff's‑office officials responded that audit exports and review procedures have been implemented and that the system's technical setup — including originating agency identifiers (ORI) — limits direct read access. The sheriff's office said it has been generating audit reports and that vendor discussions are underway to provide a read‑only option, but that some technical and legal constraints may limit how log access is provided. The court asked staff to return a clear policy and possibly a technical solution at the next meeting.
After the discussion the court voted to pay the bills as presented.
