He asked residents and councilmembers alike to attend public workshops and noted the consultant has already briefed the council on its approach.
Several councilmembers praised the communications plan as more robust than earlier efforts and stressed that the city’s role at public sessions should be to listen and gather ideas from residents. The council adopted the agreement by roll-call vote, 5–0.
