Bonnie Komash, chief executive officer of the nonprofit Working Wardrobes, presented to the Tustin City Council about the organization’s workforce-development programs, retail operations and volunteer opportunities.
Komash described the organization’s history and clients’ barriers—mental health, housing instability and food insecurity—and said Working Wardrobes reached a record 7,000 people in 2024 and has assisted roughly 135,000 people since its founding in 1990. She invited councilmembers and residents to volunteer, donate gift cards or attend upcoming events, including a spring festival and a brand-reveal event.
Councilmembers thanked Komash for the presentation and asked how residents could access services; Komash said the easiest access is online or by phone and said drive-in and walk-in options are also available. The presentation closed with council applause and no formal action required.
