Councilmembers had no substantive questions; the council moved and approved the item unanimously. The motion authorizes staff and Placentia Fire and Life Safety to proceed with community notification, defensible-space education and other steps required by state guidance.
Next steps: the Fire and Life Safety Department will begin implementation of defensible-space outreach and vegetation program components for properties inside the LRA and continue community awareness actions already posted on the city website and social media.
