Council recognizes Arroyo Trabuco golf venue and names Lisa Lebron Flores OCSD Civilian Employee of the Year

The Mission Viejo City Council used part of its June 24 meeting to present local recognitions. Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem invited representatives from a local golf venue to the dais to accept a city presentation honoring their facility as a 2024 California Golf Course Owners Association award recipient and took a group photograph.
Mayor Pro Tem Bucknam introduced representatives (identified in the record as Matthew Donovan, Jeff Crom and Michael Block) and thanked them for their service to the community. Councilmembers joined the presentation for photographs.
The council also recognized Crime Prevention Specialist Lisa Lebron Flores for receiving the Orange County Sheriff's Department 2024 Civilian Employee of the Year award. Captain Jason Ivins described Flores's long service and event coordination work in Mission Viejo, noting she was selected from among thousands of department employees. Flores thanked the captain, colleagues and the council for the opportunity to serve and host community events such as National Night Out and public evacuation forums.
The recognitions were ceremonial; no council action was required.
