Steve (county staff) described a modest estimated cost to relocate a server and the need for an uninterruptible power supply for camera systems; supervisors approved the policy after brief discussion.
On personnel matters the board approved hiring M. Joyce as a second deputy in the auditor’s office at $7.25 per hour effective June 11, 2025, granted VPN access as requested (with a supervisor expressing concern about immediate access prior to a probationary period), and approved several wage adjustments and promotions listed on the agenda. One set of wage discrepancies in the secondary roads department was tabled for further analysis.
