Munguera said the survey, distributed districtwide in November 2024, generated more than 3,000 responses but varying completion rates noted in the presentation. Key headline results presented by Munguera included: about 86% of respondents rated district communications as clear, roughly 78% rated communications as timely, and about 84% rated communications as accurate. Respondents also indicated preferences for receiving texts and emails rather than phone calls, and the survey reporting showed website and Meta platforms (Facebook/Instagram) among the most used sources for district information.
Munguera said the survey was provided in English and Spanish side‑by‑side and could be translated into other languages, including Urdu, Punjabi and Vietnamese. She said the results will inform the district’s next strategic communications plan and that themes from open responses were shared with school principals for site‑specific follow‑up.
Board members offered a certificate of recognition and multiple public thanks for Munguera’s work, praising her timeliness, crisis communication planning and site support. The board noted her national awards for website work and expressed appreciation as she transitions out of the district.
