The Madison County Board of Supervisors approved routine administrative and personnel items on the consent agenda.
Items approved included assessor recommendations for 2025 homestead and disabled-veteran tax credits and military exemptions; hiring a full-time paralegal at $31.25 per hour effective July 15, 2025; temporary VPN access for a new employee; discharge of a $45 public-health debt for a deceased individual; and wage adjustments for named employees effective July 1, 2025. Each item was moved, seconded and passed by voice vote.
The board also approved a new proxy for ICAP and other routine housekeeping items. These measures were handled under the consent agenda to enable county offices to continue operations without delay.
