Board members discussed leaving the acting treasurer (Kylie, as named in the meeting) in place until the appointment, a course several supervisors favored to avoid further disruption.
The board moved and approved the vacancy/appointment resolution (resolution 080525b) by voice vote. The chair noted the resolution language would declare the vacancy effective 07/14/2025 and that the appointment would be made on Aug. 19 contingent on the county attorney’s sign-off.
