During the meeting the board adopted Resolution "number 9 28 25" on textbooks and instructional materials for the 2025–26 school year after a brief public-hearing window closed with no speakers. The board then certified the provision of standards-aligned instructional materials and approved associated motions by voice vote.
Board members also approved a resolution to accept California State Preschool Program (CSPP) and Family Literacy grant items and voted to purchase DSA modular classrooms from American Modular System using a competitively bid contract of Santa Cruz City Schools under Resolution 093025. In addition, the board voted to increase the certificated non-bargaining salary schedule.
