Superintendent highlights IT push: 6,000 devices reimaged, summer school for 5,200 students

Cassie said IT is supporting in-person and online summer school at 16 sites, managing curriculum and communication platforms remotely, and "collecting and redistributing approximately 6,000 staff and student devices" with repairs to ensure devices are available when the school year begins. She said IT staff will likely receive and resolve about 7,000 support requests over the summer and are completing wireless upgrades, server maintenance, backup and file storage improvements, and security enhancements to keep students safely connected to online resources.
Cassie also noted summer school enrollment of 5,200 students and highlighted district participation in National History Day and other enrichment activities. She thanked IT and other departments for their efforts preparing for year-round and traditional calendar starts.
