Eamon introduced the proposals and explained that the district’s initial package covers four articles: working conditions; compensation and related benefits; health and welfare benefits; and absences and leaves. He said the proposals are intended to begin successor-contract negotiations and that CSEA will present its own initial proposals at a later meeting.
The board opened the public hearing and, after hearing no public comment, approved the district’s initial proposals by motion. The action was recorded as carried by voice vote.
