FJUHSD welcomes new special‑education coordinator and fiscal director

The Fullerton Joint Union High School District introduced two new district administrators at its board meeting.
Assistant Superintendent Carl Zenor introduced Megan Castaneda as the district’s new coordinator of special education. Castaneda joined the district in July 2024 as a program specialist and previously served as an assistant principal in the Orange County Department of Education’s Connections Special Education Program. "I look forward to continuing to work with our amazing programs and supporting our amazing students," Castaneda said.
Zenor also introduced Carlos Pina as the district’s new director of fiscal services, who joins the district from East Whittier City School District where he served as director of fiscal services and oversaw budget development, multi‑year projections and fiscal compliance. Pina said he is "excited to join this wonderful district."
Board members welcomed both appointees and the president formally welcomed Megan and Carlos during closing comments.
