Trustees approve minutes, expulsions, delegate slate, sunshine proposals and consent calendar (5–0 votes)

At the February session the Fullerton Joint Union High School District Board of Trustees took a series of procedural and action votes across a broad consent and action calendar.

Key formal actions and outcomes: 1) Approval of the minutes for 01/14/2025 and routine agenda motions (voice vote). 2) The board approved a confidential pupil expulsion deliberation and recommendation for case 2425 No.10 (motion carried). 3) Trustees nominated and voted to cast district votes for up to seven candidates to the CSBA Region 15 Delegate Assembly; the nominations were carried on roll call. 4) The board conducted public hearings and accepted initial 'sunshine' proposals from CSEA and FSTO and management; these are procedural steps to open successor contract bargaining. 5) The board unanimously approved Resolution 2024‑25 No.22 to authorize the sale of Measure L Series A bonds (not to exceed $120,000,000) and Resolution 2024‑25 No.23 authorizing COP lease financing documents. 6) The board approved Resolution 2024‑25 No.20 to establish a combined Measure I and Measure L citizen bond oversight committee and adopted new bylaws for that committee. 7) The board approved an updated job description for the Director/Senior Director of Facilities Maintenance and Operations (to align with Measure L), and approved the consent calendar of personnel contracts and purchase agreements.

Most votes were unanimous (recorded as 5–0). No board motion failed during the meeting. Several items drew public comment that did not delay votes, including concerns about public records, benefits, and EMMA postings.
