The assembly accepted administration recommendations of no protest on multiple alcohol-license transfers after staff reports verifying zoning and tax status. Transfers included the Elf’s Den beverage-dispensary license (Golden Nugget Food Corp), the restaurant endorsement and ownership change for This and That Grill (relocating into the former Brewster's site), and a controlling-interest transfer for Ursa Major Distilling (Big Bear Enterprises LLC). Each staff report said the properties are properly zoned and property taxes are current; the assembly then moved and voted to file no protest in each case.
The assembly also approved the mayor’s appointment of Hank Bartos to the Board of Equalization, setting the term to end Dec. 31, 2025. The motion to appoint passed on roll call.
