At the morning session the Clark County Zoning Commission approved item 27, a holdover use permit for a proposed gas station, car wash, convenience store and smog check station on about 3.6 acres near Blue Diamond Road and Fort Apache Road in Enterprise.
Helen Foley presented revised plans and confirmed they had been submitted to the Comprehensive Planning Department. Commissioner Jones asked about plan submission and vacuum-stall removal for the car wash; Foley confirmed three vacuum stalls had been removed. Commissioner Jones moved for approval and the motion carried.
The project will include reduced driveway approach distances and design review for the commercial center; public works conditions include installing a right-turn lane on Desert Inn Road and a median to prevent left turns into the site as part of the approved conditions on the record.
