At the March 11 Laguna Hills City Council meeting, student liaison Parsa Kaveh provided a report on Laguna Hills High School activities and upcoming events, and a resident used public comment to publicize neighborhood park cleanups and planting activities.
Parsa Kaveh said the school will host eighth grade day on March 14 to familiarize incoming freshmen with campus programs and staff. Kaveh outlined spirit activities for Saint Patrick’s Day on March 17, multiple spring sports schedules, an ASB‑organized dodgeball tournament and a spirit week March 24–28 that will culminate in a spring assembly featuring team dances and a 'Teen Beach Movie' theme.
During public comment, Harry Huggins described a V Ranch Park creek cleanup scheduled for the coming weekend, noted that the city would provide trash cans, gloves and bags and that snacks and water would be available for volunteers. Huggins also previewed additional neighborhood events: a planting event in late March at Santa Vittoria Park, a concert in San Remo Park in April (not city‑sponsored), and a Ridge Route planting operation planned for May. Huggins encouraged community participation.
Deputy City Clerk McDonald also announced city programs and excursions, including trips to the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum, the Getty Center, and the Citrus Festival; preregistration was required for excursions.
These items were informational; no council action was taken on student activities or the public comment requests during the meeting.
