Laguna Hills honors Trauma Intervention Program on 30th anniversary

The mayor read the plaque text describing TIP as a national nonprofit founded in 1985, with an Orange County presence since 1995, more than 125 active volunteers serving 26 cities and 14 hospitals, and volunteers who respond 24/7 to assist survivors and families after sudden traumatic events. The mayor thanked Bev Lewis and the volunteers "for all the amazing work you have done and continue to do." A brief photo opportunity followed.
The recognition was ceremonial and no council action or funding was associated with the presentation.
