Laguna Hills council ratifies city manager pay change after closed-session evaluation

The staff report stated the manager’s current annual base salary was increased by 6% from $274,300 and described a one-time performance bonus equal to 6% of the manager’s current annual base-salary in the amount of $16,004.58. The council adopted the ratifying resolution without further discussion.
The adoption followed state law procedures requiring that changes to executive compensation be summarized at a public meeting after the closed-session action. There were no public comments on the item. The motion to adopt was moved and seconded and the vote was recorded as unanimous.
