Smith said $300,000 was budgeted for this year's vehicle purchases and that additional funds were included for vehicle upfitting. Staff explained the department maintains a four-year life cycle on patrol vehicles. There was no public comment on this item.
A motion to approve (mover and seconder recorded in the meeting minutes) carried unanimously; the City Clerk recorded Item 6 as passing 5–0. The authorization allows staff to proceed with procurement using the specified contract vehicles and to process associated upfitting orders.
