Council approves Microsoft Teams phone system upgrade; one abstention

He estimated a three-year cost, including desk phones and contingency, of approximately $256,000.
Councilmembers asked about license counts and the number of physical phones versus licenses. Bolsom said the city would provision roughly 400 licenses while purchasing about 150 desk phones to reflect staff preferences for mobile vs. desk endpoints.
A motion to approve the purchase and authorize the city manager to execute agreements with recommended vendors carried 4-0 with Councilmember Grandes abstaining. Staff will proceed with contract execution and implementation planning.
