Dozens of residents who live near the Magnolia and Warner corridors urged the council to take a second look during a special meeting called to meet an ordinance deadline. Lyle Sheple told council members he read the EIR and called the traffic study “deficient,” saying it assumed multiple access points that do not exist and warned that a single access point would create severe vehicle stacking. “If you do the math based on 1 access point it’s 95 per acre,” Sheple said, urging the council to demand stronger mitigation and additional study.
