At its February meeting the Royal Oak Planning Commission advanced several administrative and land-use items: the commission voted to recommend the city's multi-year Capital Improvements Program (CIP) to the City Commission, and it approved multiple development applications including an indoor pickleball facility at 2020 Bel Air and a Pilates studio at 4300 Delamere.
Kim Kory, the city's finance director, presented the CIP, saying the first funding year (FY 2025—6) shows approximately $27,700,000 and the plan's total across the life of the program is about $197,700,000. The commission voted to recommend adoption to the City Commission.
