Board member Bastian, who proposed the invitation, said patterns have emerged in cases that would benefit from a coordinated discussion with planning staff and the consultant drafting potential ordinance updates. The board approved the motion without opposition and several members volunteered to attend.
Staff indicated the meeting could help clarify topics including allowable floor area, accessory unit standards and lot-coverage thresholds.
